So my 5yr old fell outside yesterday and last night she said her forearm was hurting my SO wrapped it with a ace bandage, I got her up for school and her hand and fingers are swollen. So I thought maybe it was the bandage was on tight so I removed it and It’s been about a hour it’s still swollen but the crazy thing she says nothing hurts. Urgent care isn’t open yet so I was wondering if anyone experienced anything like that?

Hi I fell when I was 5 and I knew my arm was broken... I told my mother my arm was broken and she didn’t believe me and put me to bed that night... when I woke up in the morning it was so swollen the size of a balloon.... she got so scared took me right in and it was broken... I hope your little girl is ok 💜

My sister walked around on a broken foot for three days before she started feeling any pain in it so be careful. She could have a small fracture she doesn’t feel is there right now especially after it’s been wrapped & protected all night.

The bandage could have caused that. Is she elevating it on a pillow? Swelling can take a while to go away especially if the arm is in a dependent position. Can she move it through the full range of.motion?
