So yesterday I had my last consultant appointment, four hours I spent in hospital. They wanted to do a scan due to lack of weight Esme has put on, turns out she's weighing in at 4lb 9oz and has lots of hair. They put me on a monitor for reduced movement which they said they were happy with also told me her head is engaged. I'm 32+3 my second baby I had at 32+4 as he broke my waters and weighted 4lb 11oz. At the moment I feel like I have a bowling ball inbetween my legs and when I walk I have to keep stopping due to the feeling I get were I feel as though she's going to fall out. I'm nervous knowing she's engaged already. And I look smaller now she has. I googled how long after baby being engaged is labour which was a bad idea 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈 it says can be around two weeks after and I'm not sure when she decided to go down into that position so now I'm nervous. Anybody else been in the same situation? Sorry for the essay. Xx

I'm in that same boat now, as started having contractions. So trying to do as little as possible to rest but at the same time keep the balance of moving a little by tidying etc. I'm only now gonna go out for midwife appts or hospital appts which I have to attend. Take it easy hun x

But the only problem is I've never gone into labour natural so I'm nervous and weary because I'm unsure on everything, my first and third I was induced and apparently the pain in different to going into labour naturally. My second my waters broke and I only got what felt like little Braxton Hicks for three days and I woke up during the night ten centermeters. So now every pain I get or leakage I'm like is this it. Plus I've never gone full term xx

Maybe give it a couple of days then, and see how you feel. Try to rest up a bit too x

@jodieedd22-5-19 I'm quite scared of going out far now just incase my waters break while out and about plus the more I'm up and doing stuff the more pain I seem to get so I thought taking it easy was the best option now xx

I've been in a few times now not for the nicest of things (sorry for to much information) I went in for leaking fluid which happens everyday apparently it's alot of discharge and when baby is putting more pressure I leak urine. Which is a daily nightmare. I also get Braxton Hicks have done for the last two month but they hurt like hell these days I was in last week for the pain they sent me home on co-codomal x

With second + pregnancies babies can pop in and out of engaging so I wouldn’t worry about that x

I wouldn't worry about it just yet, my baby has been head down and engaged since near on 28 weeks. Bit difficult to walk at times. But wait for obvious signs like contractions, water breaking, muccus plug etc. If you are nervous or worried I would call your midwife or day assessment unit. I have regular weekly monitoring due to blood pressure and they normally put me on the CTG to check baby etc. So if you're worried they can definitely help to ease your mind x
