Mamas who have hernias and had then repaired at what point did you know it was time to have the surgery? My doctor told me that if I plan on having more kids they won’t repair it until I can’t push it in anymore and a really painful but he also said there’s risk to that. Well it’s getting a lot harder to push in i am having to push in every 10-15 minutes and it’s painful. But I am able to eventually push back in. My doctor doesn’t seem to really care I’m thinking of getting a second opinion it’s a lot bigger then it was when I brought it up. Tia

Never had a hernia but my bf did. I honestly think you should get a second opinion. If its bothering you that much something needs done about it.

I’d recommend a second opinion. From what I’ve seen/heard doctors recommend pushing it in UNTIL surgery. But surgery is definitely necessary. Depending on the situation will determine how urgent u need it. But makes no sense to drag it out it will only get worse ..

I ended up having surgery and I'm soooooo glad I did. After 3 days I felt completely healed. My hernia was so painful😣

I got my hernia after my first baby. It got incredibly painful during my second pregnancy, some days I could barely get out of bed, so I decided to go ahead and have it repaired. I’m so glad that I did. I’ve since been pregnant with and delivered twins, and it did not come back
