Breakfast 😊 everyone always has this misconception during pregnancy to eat for two, or you can eat whatever you want just because you're pregnant. Listen I still meal prep, I still workout, and I still eat nutritious meals everyday. You dont need to eat for two you need to eat foods higher in nutrients to feed your baby. Yes you have to double a little on the calories but that's not until mid pregnancy. #cleaneating #fitmom #fitpregnancy
Girl, yes! Truth is I would love to eat for two, but I can’t. What do you put in your oatmeal? Any recipe ideas? Unfortunately I’m Type 2 so I’ve been watching sugar and carbs. This far I’ve done cinnamon, chia seeds, & peanut butter, and bananas with my steel oats.
In this batch of oats I just used pure maple syrup with no added sugar. I honestly stick to basics I dont like to consume big amounts of sugar because it defeats the health benefits. I'd just add pure maple syrup, butter, milk, or zero calorie sweetener, sometimes my protien shake mix, peanut butter as well, cinnamon or fresh fruit.
@kalenechenoweth, Last weekend I made a savory oatmeal dish that used half steel oats and half lentils with kale and mushrooms. It’s supposed to be like risotto except no rice. It was pretty good as a side dish to combine with your protein and very filling. I can talk food all day 🤤
@buneeh that sounds sooo good. I'm a foodie as well. I'm mostly a clean eater but I treat myself too 🤣
That toast is creeping me out 😂 I know it’s just jam but someone else posted something vulgar which was not jam
@emmamarch16th oh no, I think someone was having an early misscarige and posted her clots and bright bleeding as was asking for help and advice. Everyone keeps making rude posts about her and it's so rude and inconsiderate. I've had two misscariges although I'm very private about those kinds of things I still wouldve loved to have help or advice from other women about what to do because I didnt know. So I think some people are being just a little judgemental on here and that's really sad and immature
I didn’t start eating for two until after he was born and I was nursing. I was constantly starving and ate more than my husband!
This!
Not to mentionif your weight gain comes from good nutrition instead of junk its easier to lose later.
