@lil.momma, if you’re pumping you need to pace feed. Bottle held level with the floor, pausing every half ounce. You’ll stretch baby’s stomach if they eat too fast. When they’re so young it takes them a while to feel full.
I do all of these things daily, minus putting baby on the breast / pump after feeding as I don’t breast feed.
I have bought BodyArmor in bulk..I’ll be drinking that stuff for 6mo, seriously.
If you’re down to drink stuff you should try the milkflow chocolate mix drink. It tastes just like Swiss miss hot cocoa. I warmed milk in a mug in the microwave and put 2 packets of the mix in, I stg just thinking about the damn drink makes my boobies sore 🤣 lmao the first time I drank it my nipples were leaking in minutes and I had just pumped less than an hour before. I’ve found that fennel seed and fenugreek (the drink has fenugreek.. don’t know about fennel but you can sneak fennel seed into your food.. they sell it with the spices in the grocery store & also fennel tea is good) but I’ve found that they are most effective using them for days at a time and stopping for days at a time. You could even alternate between them but they’re both incredibly powerful galactagogues. Some will tell you no fenugreek due to gassy baby issues. Never had that issue myself but it’s different for every baby.
also literally everything I ate had oats in it. The more you eat and drink, the more you’ll be able to produce. Oats cereals/bars/cookies/muffins. Good luck yall♥️ pumping is seriously hard work
Put the baby to breast more. Salvia from the baby will help. Increase the flow.. I literally spent 5 days on the couch and would put babe on as often as I could and then bam I just had soo much
Power pumping. Pump for 20, rest for 10, pump for 10, rest for 10, pump for 10. It makes your body think baby is cluster feeding so you produce more. Lots of water, and the Body Armor drink with oatmeal cookies was my go to pumping/nursing snack. @jennatess
Lactation smoothies, cookies etc, pump after you finish feeding the baby. Massage your breast, put a warm rag over your breast and leave it for a few minutes
