Any ideas on what to cook for dinner tonight?? My dude is black and I’m Hispanic. I don’t want him to eat Hispanic food almost everyday 🙄 but im runing out of ideas 😂 wishing I can cook like his nanas but I’m not at that level yet .😂😂 so any black mamas with ideas let me know 😌
I should add that I used cornflakes, breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese all mixed together.
@krmommy, Im doing this tomorrow 😂 i love ranch. Dressing, chips what else😅
It’s all k eat growing up 😂 i can’t do my dude like that .. I get bored sometimes 😅
My entire side of the family is Puertorican .. for generations and here I go with my beautiful melanin babies 😍 their daddy is chocolate and I love it ❤️
I love taco night or taco anything !!!! Also Sheppards pie Mmmmmm... Guys I'm hungry now lol
@symantha_chandler, is it any type on gravy or one you like most?? I should search for next time I don’t have a clue what to cook. Or maybe you can send me a good link 😉😉
@xomarylee I just use a package of brown gravy powder maxwell house brand... Not sure if you have that there
@symantha_chandler, i could probably find it. I usually buy chicken styled gravy
You do realize black is a race with a very wide range of cultures therefore “black” isn’t a type of food nor is something your black grandma would cook mean it’s “black” food. It can be Jamaican, African, Guyanese, West Indian, and the list goes on and on and on.
@mimixtmn, FIRST OF i will teach my kid whatever me and their dad decide to it is no one your concern!! Do not meantion my kid when your coming at me about me doing ignorant!! You found it IGNORANT THAT MEANS IT OFFENDED YOU IN A WAY YOU DO NOT LIKE IT SAME DIFFERENCE. And we live in a super diverse world we talk in many different ways people on here understand wha I meant because clearly they are commenting in a nice way❤️ and i did not mention anything about anybody nanas and what they cook I mentioned i like how my nana cooks.
@wellabean0413, everyone knows how to speak blacks and white aren’t not a race it’s a color .. there are so many races in the world but people he common sense know what I mean by black mamas and white mamas and rican, Mexican, Italian Mamis 😂😂
@xomarylee, ignorant doesn’t mean you are offended .. the definition of ignorant is lacking knowledge or awareness in general. Nothing about the word ignorant says or implies being offended... but ok 👌🏽. And yes you did mention other ppls grandmas to the first comment that said “Lordie do you mean soul food “ with 🤦🏽♀️ emoji you responded like what would your grandma cook...
I’m white as fuck, am I allowed to chime in? lol. Does he do pastas or anything? I can send you a bomb chicken Alfredo recipe. I suck at cooking. I have like, 6-7 things I can cook without messing up and that’s it. 😭
@xomarylee,haha. I know! I just can’t help with the specialized meal ideas.
@kimberly_the-preemie-mom, yeah i wasn’t asking for a full plate idea 😂 it’s just some ideas here and there because I’m stuck today.
I do chicken the chicken all the time lol but no pork chops. Some of his famil is allergic so nana got use to not cooking it and he doesn’t it eat and my kids will decide if they want to eat pork when they grow up a little
Ask what he likes shit my friends raised with soul food but she loves when my ass cooks her homemade pasta and meatballs
@xomarylee, girl your telling me I’m pregnant so my ass craving nasty stuff like sloppy joes
@xomarylee, can’t go wrong with spaghetti! I usually fry chicken wings or porkchops with mashed potatoes or rice and gravy. You can’t get the canned biscuits too. I haven’t made greens yet but you can find a recipe for that and maybe some chuck roast.
@boymom123 yeah thats as healthy as it gets for me too lol. Maybe a piece of lettuce here and there 😂
