That’s how it is where I live as well. We knew our daughter was very smart, but where we live kids only get into PreK due to developmental delays or low income.. However, I think waiting an extra year helped her mature and now she is reading and doing math at a 4th grade level while in 1st grade! So don’t worry! 😊

My son starts in August as well. I cry because I'm not ready to let him go

Were in Delaware. If we were still in Cali we would most likely have to pay out of pocket.

My daughter starts preschool at the elementary school this August too. I’m a nervous wreck 😭😭

they have a program for 3 year olds. So they’re ready for kindergarten

I wish my 3 year old (he will be 4 this Fall) could start TK this upcoming year. He’s so smart and really needs to be in school. I know “preschool” isn’t doing it for him. My big kid doesn’t start school until the end of August. When I was in school we didn’t start until September.
