Had my WIC appt today for the 6 month check up, he's already gone to the doctors for his check up too but his doctor told me to at least give him 24oz of milk and the rest give him table food/baby food.. WIC told me today he should be eating 29-40oz of milk a day and then baby food. I'm thinking I'll believe his doctor

Actually wic sounds more accurate, 24oz only if baby will take a decent amount of food, but many 6 month olds do not. My son didn't really eat food until 10 months.

he shouldn't have had food until 6 months but to late for that. But make sure he at least gets the 24oz of formula because he still needs that more.

he doesn't complain he's hungry so I'm guessing he's always got a full tummy and the doc said his weight is great he weighs 19pounds 7oz.

At 6 months they require more milk than food. He’s just practicing eating at this point. Listen to WIC.

@jmedina his doctor said he could. And yeah he gets 24oz of milk and eats 2-3 big plastic containers of Gerber food and a yogurt twice and the 24oz
