Super stressed and need some reassurance at this point. We went for my 30 week growth check because of gestational diabetes , baby is measuring 4lbs 9oz already !! At this point the midwife is thinking I’ll be out on medicine to control my blood sugars because diet at this point most likely will not work.. they’re also implying at this point I will either deliver with early induction if I’m on the medicine or go full term with diet control and have a super high risk of emergency c section. I am so stressed at this point in time that I could literally just give up on the pregnancy. Either way is something I don’t want to happen. 😩

They told me my son would be huge! He was in the 90 percentile the whole pregnancy. I was on insulin and I am again this time. My sone was born at 38 weeks due to low fluid and was 7.3lbs. Everything was fine. I think they just tell you the worst case scenario but most likely you and baby will be fine!

I am just soooooo scared to have a huge baby, and the chance of c section is terrifying to me being that I delivered my other two vaginally with no problems. The way they gain weight now she could be 8lbs before I’m even 37 weeks they said if we don’t hurry up and do something about this. 😩

if it makes you feel any better my best friend had her baby in November and she was 8.9lbs. No diabetes. I was there for the birth, no issues under 15 minutes of pushing, minor tearing. So if if your baby is big everything could be just fine.

I am on insulin and they kinda told me the same thing I just started it almost a week ago and mine is still staying high as they say it's all confusing when you have never dealt with this stuff and it makes you stress so much.
