I had to take 4 pills the morning of my d&c to make the d&c easier. I felt completely fine physically after my d&c but I was an emotional mess. I got there and they did a iv, drew blood and put me to sleep then I was allowed to go home a hour later. My second baby I lost I miscarried at home and I would have mug rather went through a d&c again. Miscarrying at home was awful.

@hunbun93, I’m sorry for your losses as well! I miscarried twice last year and now expecting again but cramping pretty bad with a little bleeding so I’m freaking out but trying to stay positive. I can’t take losing another baby again. I’m going to go to the er to get checked out once my fiancé gets home to help with our daughter. They did the iv in my room then wheeled me back to the OR and put me to sleep. You’ll do great! I woke up balling my eyes out but I didn’t have any pain.

I’m sure I’m going to be a wreck after the procedure is done. The first one, I had no time to think. I did it and was numb for the rest of the day. That night I broke down. None of this is easy.

@hunbun93, thank you! I’ll be praying that your d&c goes well! Ever since my first miscarriage and d&c my periods have stopped so I have to take medicine to make me have them but other than that it went as good as it could. I also have PCOS so that contributes to my periods stopping too. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy Soon!
