My son is almost outgrowing his infant car seat so we’re going to have to install the convertible car seat soon. I’m soo nervous idk if I’m ready for this transition😩 did you find it easier when you switched from an infant car seat to a convertible one? My son is getting heavy so carrying that car seat has not been easy that’s for sure!!

I loved it when I switched! My daughter HATED her infant carrier to the point she wouldn't move her legs so I could buckle her without tugging and pulling for ten minutes. I gave up when she was about 9 months old and it was night and day. Best thing ever and she safely rear faced until she was 3.5

I didn’t like the switch at first because I lost the convenience of being able to take him in and out of the car without waking him up. But other than that, the switch was fine bc i didn’t have to lug the car seat around anymore.

That’s why I think I’m gonna hate it 😩 he ALWAYS falls asleep in his car seat and it’s nice being able to get him in and out of the car without waking him up
