What mommies are cna’s I want to know about working at a nursing home I just got my license new to this
But you don’t have to choose nursing home life you can choose home health care or hospitals now those two I would choose over nursing homes any day
Lol I have been an cna for 11 years I love what I do you have your ups and downs but that’s everywhere you go if you love caring for ppl then you won’t mind doing things for them but if you can’t handle cleaning up behind them , then it may not be the job for you . But I love it but unfortunately I am tired of the cna world and I will be graduating next month I will be an certified medical assistant I want to try the office like now
I worked in a nursing home. It’s rough but I got attached to some patients. Only downfall was after I got hurt lifting a patient they treated me like crap and cut my hours like crazy
Cna work sucks period. Nursing homes are super sad places and you don't get paid shit
@amirjamal074 a lot of hard work with crappy pay. You'll find your favorites and sometimes they pass and it hurts like hell but there's plenty of them to love. Your residents will become like family. The staff is usually messy as hell lol
@mbelton, lol my mom a cna she said the same thing I thought she was playing with me 🤣🤣
My mom has lost very loved patients, she’s been kicked in the stomach by patients, she’s been head butted, pushed, punched in the face which was just recently and left her with a black eye, she’s been cussed out, she was pregnant with my older sister, and got kicked in the stomach, and she’s had people poop, and pee on her, she’s had patients spit on her so it’s rough work when working in a nursing home so be careful! Good luck!
