When to my doctors appointment and she did an ultrasound she told me the baby is about 6 weeks…

I, unfortunately, was one of the unlucky ones. My previous pregnancy was measuring about 6w1d, but no heartbeat. I followed up the following week for another US and still no heartbeat. However there are many who beat the odds and do find a heartbeat after waiting. I hope you’re one of them.

It’s definitely possible that it’s to soon to hear the heartbeat! Try to stay positive, easier said than done because I’m struggling to stay positive atm! I’m praying for you and your little one! With my first miscarriage I was measuring 5 weeks and 2 days but I was suppose to be 9 weeks but there was a heart beat but a week later it stopped and I miscarried at 10 weeks. Then with my second miscarriage I was suppose to be 7 weeks but they couldn’t find a baby at all just a empty sack and I was bleeding bad. I have had friends though where they couldn’t find their baby’s heart beat until 7-8 weeks so it is definitely possible it’s just to soon! If your not cramping or bleeding or anything I wouldn’t be to worried yet. I’m freaking out atm because I’ve been in pain all day 😭😩.

My first pregnancy baby had no heart beat and stopped developing early on. My best advice now is prepare for worst hope for the best and know no matter what it’s out of your control. But I do hope your baby has a strong heartbeat next ultrasound.
