My man is such a sweet heart, and I'm kind of a hard ass. He just officially was notified he was promoted and as a result his peer was fired. He feels bad because we've had a hunch this was going to happen. I told him to keep his mouth shut and not warn the guy so he doesn't impact his chances. Come to find out the guy has a baby on the way and they fired him with no type of severance... And I just blurted out you can't feel that bad if you aren't willing to get fired in his place, it's business. My point was it's not directly his fault and he can't do anything to fix it. But now I feel like I need to make up for being so short with him while he was venting this morning 😒😞
