I feel so awful sometimes, my son gets so frustrated not being able to communicate properly. At times I don't understand what he wants/needs/is trying to tell me 😞 90% of the time I understand but just now it took 10 mins of grunting & him slapping his arms around & literally going "uhg" for me to realize he wanted his juice...

Really hope ST helps him. It's been a little over a month now, going 1x a week. I know that's probably waaay too soon to notice anything but it's not about me wanting him to talk or feeling like he's behind, I want it for him; the look on his face sometimes when he can't say what he needs kills me.

On a positive note, he's brought back the word "bye" 💗 he lost it back in December so it brought me to tears when he said it randomly again. Of course he was waving and saying bye to some poop he was flushing 😂😂

Aw he is 2? He is still so young❤️But it sounds like you are a wonderful mama. Hang in there! Do you ask him things like “show mommy” or “take mommy” when he is struggling to communicate?

Yes he turned 2 in Feb, I usually hold his hand & have him take me or show me what he needs/wants but I think he was too tired to get up. His doctor says he's super behind in speech which is discouraging at times but I'm doing more than what the ST suggests, he tries to copy words but they're quite slurred/mumbled. I just worry it frustrates him too much at times. He'll cry & want to cuddle when he gets stuck on trying to say things.
