Noah is STILL freaking out when I drop him off at day care and it breaks my heart because I KNOW it’s because I don’t stay with him anymore and that’s all he’s used to...he doesn’t understand why I’m now leaving him and it breaks my heart...

@bubbys.mommy, it took my first about 3 months for him to stop freaking out. He was 1.5 at that time. It sucked so much, but the person watching him always assured me that after the first week he’d calm down the second he couldn’t see me

It's one of the hardest things ever! Greyson now , for the most part, will run into daycare all happy and ready to play but the days of dropping him off while he transitioned into being at daycare and having to leave while he was crying were the hardest!

Well I used to work at his daycare. I worked there for 7 months and that’s about how long he’s been attending and just 3 weeks ago I quit and now he freaks out every morning and I feel so guilty all because he’s used to me staying there with him And being there whenever he needed/wanted me and now I’m not there anymore. Like if I pulled him out of that day care and put him in a different one he’d cry for a few days and then he fine because he won’t be adjusted to me staying there with him.

My son still cries when I drop him off. It's only for 5-10 minutes and then he's ok. When I go to pick him up he doesn't want to leave. I think all kids do it no matter how long they're used to it .
