I want to have more kids in the future but knowing how my last and current pregnancy went, I'm kinda hesitant. Not because I can't handle it but because of the criticism I got for it. I didn't have any complications but I suffered from hyperemesis with both and can barely stand towards month 5. It's so disappointing hearing people say "you're not handicapped" whenever it takes me 10 minutes to get out the car or getting up the stairs. My favorite is when someone would say "you're not the first person to be pregnant, suck it up!" And it's always other women 🙄 Now I bite my tongue to ask for help or avoid being around people because I feel like I'll get crucified for being in extreme pain. The worst is when I confide in someone close and tell them what pain I'm going through, they dismiss it as if I'm exaggerating or annoying them. I feel like my male coworkers have been the most empathetic towards me and it's crazy because they don't know what pregnancy feels like and can't even relate. It's funny how people empathize with you more if you have allergies or a cold but when you're pregnant, youre just overreacting lol Who knows, maybe the next pregnancy will be comfortable but I'm not counting on it

I totally understand you , I’m going through it had to be put on medical leave for certain reasons and people just thought of it as a joke when it’s my babies life at risk n mine . And when I would to talk to people about how I felt they would just brush it off , now i just Thank god I’m almost done and we made it . But it’s a fucked up feeling because everyone is different and everyone experiences different pain and they always try to compare or act like what you said we are exaggerating

@miss_understood, only we know what we go through just ignore them stay to yourself if you have to that’s what I did . It’s better that way and like the other girl said f them but I know it’s sad and thank you . Your almost there too just stay Positive

You shouldnt let that affect you wanting more kids. Just surround yourself around more positive people and dont share everything with others. Some people are really not sympathetic to pregnant women at all & that's fine, just stay away from that type of energy. Keep your peace chick

And that's how it should be! I know being on my 5th child alot of people arent as happy for me as I thought, but I realized as long as I'm happy. Some people be real life jealous too, like damn why would she have 5 kids? They wonder how you keep it all together without cracking up. Long as you're happy❤
