Ok I know I’m probably just being overboard but my hubby brought my daughter a ring just because they were in the jewelry store picking up my necklace that I was having cleaned she loved it n he got it I just think it’s a bit expensive for a 7yr old

How about getting her a necklace so she can wear it around her neck? That way she can easily show it to people without fear of loosing it.

@bridgett2731 I wear my grandmother's wedding ring on a nice necklace when I need her near me. I'd hate to ever loose it. Make sure you get a good clasp for kids. So she's not tempted to take the necklace off herself.
I’d be worried about her losing it. My 6 year old loses everything. But I think it’s a super sweet gesture.

@bridgett2731, maybe keep it for some years. When she’s older to take more care of it give it back. I knew a girl at my old school who lost her ring and she was really upset about it. Her dad gaved it to her too so she was ver sad about it
When she grows out of it maybe it can be a keepsake necklace pendant.
