SMEAR TEST REMINDER
a smear test SAVED my mum's life. After years of having abnormal cells & having treatment to remove alot of these cells. She thought was fine, she ignored the next two reminders that came. Assumed because they got rid of the cells that were there she was fine. After getting a telling off from the doctor she booked in & within 6 months of her last test the cells were now the stage before cancer. She had a full hysterectomy last February because hers was on going from the age of 21 & she also had the HPV virus which wasn't going away.
This is my reminder to YOU & myself to get booked in and get checked! It takes 5 minutes, the nurse has seen it all before & let's be fair we've ALL given birth! It's no different to getting your bits out for birth! It's painless and can save your life. No more putting off till 'next week' get it done!

This is great you've put this up. I've had mine done recently as I'm a right worrier at the best of times. My cousin who was only 38 died from cervical cancer and was yet to of had children which she wanted.. she went for routine smears and it wouldn't of gone away as it was at a late stage when they found it but the results made it so she could be made as comfortable as possible before passing away. It's so sad. Smears really are SO important. Thanks for sharing x
