I wanna take the kids to visit a fire station, i wonder how i can do it - do i just go ?

Usually they have ‘open houses’ or events like family day! I think October is fire safety month so usually it’s more popular then!

I did that when my older 2 were little they loved it and yes many places have fire safety month and give good tours the kids can go in a house and they have dif escape ways seems real ,I would call and ask 1st before leaving the house .this way if they have certain dates or times your kids won’t be upset about not going inside ;) “maybe if your brought lots of donuts ;)”as a thank u gesture

Ask for events. They usually have. Also, sometimes museums have kid events where they bring the trucks there so kids can go inside of one.

ive just pulled into the fire station if the doors are open , and theyve always let my daughter play an show her everything 🤷🏼‍♀️ i guess different places are going to do different things , but i would call a few ones an tell them you wanna show your kids the firehouse an trucks & when are they available?

There a museum on long Island

As a fire fighter do not just show up we have event for fire safety month and some stations have events in the summer at festivals. If you just show up you and your children are a liability if an emergency where to happen we can not wait for you to leave before we have to leave. Please just call and ask when their having an event.
