Might just be going through a down patch, but for the first time i am considering giving up trying. Maybe I'm just not ment to have a baby. I know people have been trying far longer than me and have gone through much more than I have, but I just don't know if I'm strong enough to keep going 😔 sorry for the negativity x
Thank you. I've been trying loose some weight and be more active, lost 1 stone and 7lbs so far so I'm hoping it will help start to regulate my periods soon xx
@mariapb may have some words of advice for you. I know she struggled for many years ttc x
@shannontalbot1997, if you feel like you need to take a break then do. Ttc is a lonely, mentally exhausting journey that no one really understands. There’s nothing wrong with stepping back for a while and just being a “normal” person. It’s hard, I ttc for over 8 years with PCOS, and ended up falling pregnant with my son totally out of the blue after I’d decided I was giving myself a year then giving up all together. I honestly don’t even know who I am if I’m not ttc. Don’t lose yourself on your journey, live and enjoy your life, before you know it all of this will be a distant memory and you’ll spend your days wishing for 5 minutes peace and a hot cuppa. It’ll happen, if I can do it, you definitely can. xx
@shannontalbot1997, you’re welcome. 😀 You’re welcome to message me if you need to offload or if you have any questions. I might not be able to help but I definitely know what you’re going through.
Don't give up hun. My BIL and SIL waited almost 10 years to have their bundle of joy. Maybe start a hobby so you don't feel like you're to focused into TTC ? Xx
@zainab.1995 yeah it was my first round but had a chemical pregnancy, she told me to wait until my next cycle just in case the hcg left over had an effect on the clomid working properly, my cycle hasn't started yet xx
@shannontalbot1997 hopefully your cycle will start soon and you can take the clomid.
My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 16 weeks with twins. 5 months after the miscarriage, i got pregnant and had a healthy pregnancy. So don't give up hun. Are you taking pregnacare? It's good for ttc as well x
I know the feeling well. I have pcos and very irregular cycles. It took me 5 years to fall pregnant with my daughter (I lost her due to another issue). Do you have pcos? If so I’d highly recommend weight loss. Apparently loosing just 5% of your current weight can be enough to help regulate your cycle. I started eating healthier and exercising and when I started dropping some weight my cycle became more and more regular. It also gave me something else to focus on instead of my life evolving around ttc. I’d tried clomid (worked but I miscarried) a few times but actually fell pregnant without it when I got healthier. I also conceived my son without any help too. I have everything crossed for you that you’ll see another bfp really soon🤞🏼✨
