20 days to my due date and yesterday I was 1 cm dilated. I’m so ready to be a mama to my baby. But she’s so not wanting to come out. Anyone have tips, to get my baby out?
@tyzbarbie just like @lottydotty i had my second and she was very jaundice and I had to stay in the hospital a week and then still was in and out of the doctors office 2 weeks after that because she was still very condescending most had to go back into the hospital it was not fun. I felt so bad.
Write down your questions and take with you to the dr. It’s very serious to have your baby stay in a little while longer! I know it’s hard and your impatient and these great ladies already gave you wonderful advice!
These last 4 weeks are crucial to your babies brain development! I know it’s uncomfortable but if there’s no medical reason, I’d try to stick it out till at least 39 weeks!
You still have 4 weeks left let baby grow and stay put till he/she is ready you can say no to being induced trust me I get you wanna meet your baby but enjoy the kicks and movements while you can cause leaving the hospital without your baby isn’t fun at all
She said if you do go in naturally by 39 weeks you’ll get induced. And I was just guessing why cuz like I said they didn’t tell me. I know I’m high risk due to my weight. But she never said that was why
What is the reason your doctor doesn’t feel your going to your due date? Are you having medical complications? 1cm doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things some people walk around 3-4 cm for a number of weeks including myself (sadly lol)
@tyzbarbie, They don’t induce over baby measuring a week ahead especially when your only 36 weeks that makes zero sense. Measurements are often off by 2 weeks plus. I’ve been measuring 3 weeks ahead since 23 weeks doesn’t change anything I’m having a large baby. They’d not induce you over that. They induce for medical purposes only. Your 36 weeks you’ve got quite a ways to go babe.
@tyzbarbie, They’d likely give you an induction date for a ways down the road. They’d never induce you at this gestation simply because your measuring a week ahead. I’d say your likely misunderstanding what they are saying in regards to when you’d be induced.

@tyzbarbie yeah it's not fun, and I understand wanting to meet her but embrace having her in your belly where you are 110% in control of protecting her.
You’re already this baby’s mom all you need to do right now is keep that baby safe in your belly for another 4 weeks. She will be here before you know it.
