I always take my daughter on the second or third day of having a bad cough but that's because she gets a lot of chest infections x

Coughs can last a while. But with Max I can usually tell when it's on his chest. He sounds wheezy and struggles to takes breaths. That's when I take him to the docs because he's prone to chest infections.

Im so scared of him getting chest infections... his cough is nasty but his breathing overall sounds ok x

He gets them less now but had them all the time as a baby. This last winter was actually the first time he hasn't got an ear or chest infection 🙌 Lots of water (lemon & honey if you can get him to drink it!). Steamy room will help too.
