I have a dilemma my baby does not like tummy time she never has liked laying in her tummy,so she’s not where she should be for a 6 month old any ladies have any advice on how I can get her to be fine on her tummy as of now I’m lost any advice is fine I feel like a bad mom right now cause I don’t encourage her to lay on her tummy when she cries I pick her up 😢😢

With my son, sometimes we would lay him on his tummy with his chest propped up on a poopy pillow, or we would do tummy time while he laid on either mine or his daddy's chest.

My son was the same way! We cuddled and he laid on my chest as well. It’s whatever works 🤷🏻♀️💕

We only did tummy time laying them on me or my husbands chest.

Or try to find something that she really really likes and lay on the floor in front of her and talk and play with her. My daughter always did better that way and when we would encourage her

I’m gonna try that she’s 6 months and not doing anything in her tummy 🥺 but it’s my fault I don’t encourage her at all 😭😭

Even if she can’t stand it, just keep doing it. Even if she’s upset. Once she does it more often she’ll build the strength she needs to make it more comfortable. I always lay by my daughter and give her plenty of toys to grab for and look at. Good luck!

Do it for a couple minutes a day if you have to. I made up a song for my son that involved Tummy time. Try to make it exciting but don't force it for so long she's crying. Little by little. My son hated it at first but after a while I couldn't get him off of his tummy 😂 I started tummy time before he was a month old.
