LONGGGG Rant time 🙃

So I love my MIL dearly, but I’m about to LOOSE IT. We were supposed to be in our new house by now but fha SUCKS. Never use them if you’re buying . Well our house is kind of a mother daughter and she’s gonna live in the apartment down stairs with her son. My sons birthday is Thursday and his party was supposed to be the 7th. We were going to have it in ny at our new house but as it got closer I knew we weren’t gonna be in it in time. My family lives in jersey . Some 30 mins away, some over an hour from our new house . All of them were going to drive down for my sons party. My grandparents were going to RENT A CAR. So they could pick up people who don’t/can’t drive. Well🙃 I rented a hall in jersey because that’s where me my son and man are til we move and all the ones in ny were over 500$ for 4 hours, no kitchen, no day before set up. Where I’m paying 200$, for 6 hours , say before set up , kitchen aux cord , etc. I CRIED that I couldnt have it in ny because I knew most of his family wouldn’t travel but I had to do what I had to do and could afford last minute . So we had to change it to the 14th. My mil, sil, bfs uncle , bil, and sil bf are the only ones that I’ve heard a definite yes from . My MIL has this idea when we move there’s going to be ANOTHER one thrown (she plans to pay for it all) for her family in ny . I feel like this is so disrespectful to me . Being I put her family before mine trying my absolute hardest to keep it in ny . I cried and was having like actual panic attacks for a week straight trying . And she’s just like “oh well we’ll throw another”??? Like NO. I’ve told her no once and she keeps bringing it up to me and apparently the rest of their family . So now they’re all probably not gonna show up cause they think there’s gonna be another . I’ve put so much time and money into this . And if it were the other way around my family wouldn’t get another party . She expected them all to come to our house . But I guess their family’s just on a higher throne ? Ugh. Long rant but I’m so frustrated and annoyed .
