If my babies come before my job or money then how do I earn money to take care of my babies? Plenty of times my baby is crying because she wants me to play with her and I have to work. If I don't I get fired, no income, no taking care of my baby.
I would say the one and only thing that would ever come before my kid is my mental health. Only because if I’m not straight then I can’t be a good mom. But anything else is secondary.. but that’s for me though
@xxoceanbabexx, when i first saw it I had the same reaction but it was also something I have wanted to say to a friend of mine and I think she could benefit from hearing it.
Her latest actions got our friend killed and she has three kids she now lost custody of all because she put drinking, drugs and “just a night out at the bar” first.
You may not need to hear this but I know a few women who need to.
Not everything has to be interpreted negatively. I just don’t see it like that.
I get what’s useful out of everything.
What’s negative and harmful to you, is constructive criticism and advice someone could use.
This post is saying you don’t choose your needs, wants and desires above your children’s.
We aren’t talking about car repairs or job titles and responsibilities, in fact, this post is towards the moms who lack responsibility and choose to leave the kids with irresponsible people and go out drinking.
So unless you’re all irresponsible moms, I’m not sure why you’re all offended ladies?
@xxoceanbabexx, I mean it’s hard to say what’s best for mom and child in the long run, if her dream ends up with them living on the streets, sometimes a stable income is more important.
Either way, you’re again missing the point. It’s still pointing out the moms who let those desires reach a level that leaves their kids suffering.
The pampering is necessary as we women work damn hard. Nobody is denying that.
If you’re idea of pampering is buying yourself yet another new car/argument/prescription/manicure/club night/ while your kids carry around an unhappy home/ ripped sneakers/an absent parent/ you can go ahead and call yourself a bad parent until you change your actions and start actually parenting.

@xxoceanbabexx, it’s called tough love momma but it causes this discomfort you’re feeling and that’s why it’s tough.
But it’s not because I don’t want anything but the best for those kiddos out there.
