Anyone else get frustrated with your baby nursing and taking FOREVER to eat and falling asleep over and over even with stimulation? I am pumping right now while she has a bottle because she takes an hour to nurse, I have spent over half the day nursing and just now am able to eat. I'm just over it today.

Yea! My daughter does this. We do it 5-10 mins at a time because she always falls asleep.

An hour is a long time to nurse my son does about 10 mins on each boob right now and I started eating with one hand while he ate and I was successful with that but my dad was nice enough to go get Chick-fil-A

Nursing can be so frustrating! I remember crying over it plenty of times. I’m sorry you’re having a tough time! No advice here but you’re not alone. 💕

In the beginning when my son would do that the lactation consultant recommended trying to switch him to the other breast to wake him up or try expressing milk when he sucks so that he realizes he’s suppose to be eating. When the milk would come he would drink even if he’s slightly asleep.
