People always ask me what it’s like to have 5 kids. I always say, “It’s nonstop.” Because in reality it is just that - NON. STOP. Someone’s always doing something. Someone’s always into something. And someone always wants to be doing something! (Did you follow that?) Not to mention 4 of them are boys… so there’s that! And not little boys… so the wrestling and the basketball dribbling in the house and the video game yelling… it’s alive and well.

So… the point of my story here! Tuesday night we did a HAM DINNER THROWDOWN! A what? Yes… my fave @OmahaSteaks sent us (3) different hams to cook and eat and share what we thought about them. I’m telling you - my husband was living his best life!! We made them all and plated everything on a tray and asked them all to come and sample. THEY RAN TO THE PLATTER!

In this photo… Ben had just dripped ham juice down on Victoria’s head, but she didn’t notice because she was too concerned with grabbing a piece before Henry. Henry was annoyed that Victoria grabbed the piece he wanted next. Alex couldn’t decide what one he liked the best and William was just eyeing to see if Victoria touched a piece he wanted next, too. And Matt? He was trying to hold down the chaos!! But guess what!!?? After they each took a bite… SILENCE.
