Ladies, advice...

Maybe this is just hormones speaking or the day I have spent at the hospital but my best friend came over and asked me to be her bridesmaid (of course I am happy) this is my best friend, and my maid of honour to be. We have known each other since I was 11. And we have always said we would be each others maid of honours.

She has said to me that she is only having 2 bridesmaids, me and her other friend who used to be her best friend (known even longer than me) but they had hardly been talking in recent years until I asked her to be my maid of honour, and since then that friend is back on the scene and has asked my best friend to be her bridesmaid and right now I'll be honest it feels like a competition - like we were back in school, because she invited my best friend to her wedding as a bridesmaid now my best friend doesn't want to dissapoint in a way, but I can't help but feel a bit perplexed. And almost like it will be like Bridesmaid wars! It will be so awkward, and my best friend deserves more than bickering bridesmaids who want to get her attention etc on the day.

What do you guys think? Am I just being an overthinking, hormonal tool!?

I agree with @vixster just leave them to it, be friendly and support her as she is your friend but just don't get to involved you've got a baby on the way so got enough to think about! Be there if she needs you and aslong as she treats you the same I honestly wouldn't worry ☺ xx
