So, how many mom's are still breast feeding your one and a half/almost two year old and have like little tears in your nipples from biting??😟🙋♀️🧒🤱
I don't even notice the tears until it starts to sting when he nurses! I do find that putting your own breast milk on it helps heal. Just asking if anyone else is experiencing this!🤪
@missdonnelly23, cold turkey. Just told him he drank all my Milk and I couldn’t make any more.
@kimberly_the-preemie-mom Did you tell him that multiple times? Because my son will keep coming to me to nurse even if I told him he drank all my milk and it's gone. I don't know if he understands that just yet
I haven’t ever had tears on my nipple but the only time my kiddo uses teeth is if he falls asleep and doesn’t realize or know he is doing it and nips me. That sounds super painful though!
Yeah my boy doesn't bite me. It's only when he is falling asleep is when he relaxes his jaw and bites me and I am pretty sure that's what tears them.
@missdonnelly23, okay so same type of thing. Oww though! Definitely does not sound like fun!
I nursed for 2 years and I think one of the only reasons why I was able to go so long was because he didn’t get teeth until he was 15 months old. 😭 my son bit down ONCE and I startled him by my reaction so he didn’t do it again. If he fell asleep on the boob I would wedge my pinky at the corner of his mouth and he would release.
