So today I spent 6 hours in hospital first couple were at the maternity unit then the rest on the delivery suite. I only had a consultant appointment. So turns out I need a glucose test on Saturday morning, they thought my waters had gone but false alarm. They measured me and I'm 27+2 measuring 30weeks, little Esme is weighing in at 3lb 3oz already. So that explains the constant pain and pressure. Got to go back in four weeks to see consultant but doctors tomorrow for something for the pain and midwife friday. Anyone give birth to a large baby knowing she could weigh between 9-10lb I'm papping myself, my others were 6.12, 4.11 and 6.2 x
I've only had little babys (6lb and 5.6lb) but my mom told me that my sister was the heaviest (8 something) and was the easiest and shortest labour xx
I had a 10lb baby. Don't worry the bigger the better! They push themselves out ! I managed without any pain relief and in the birthing centre. And labour lasted 38 minutes.
My others were between 8lbs- 8.8lbs xx
My little girl was 9.6 my labour was only 7 hours and all I had was gas and air, I guess everyone's different but it didn't make a difference to me I found labour and birth OK xx
I've had good births with the other three had gas and air with my first and last nothing with my second but for some reason I keep thinking the bigger the baby the more pain x
I haven't but my mam had a 9lb, 10lb 4oz and a 10lb 7oz. She had gestational diabetes and was induced two weeks early with both 10 pounders. She was fine, she said they were all easier than me and they all came a lot faster than I did, she was only in labour 4 hours with the 10lbs 4oz and 3 hours with the 10lbs 7oz. I was 7lb 13oz and took almost 14 hours 😂xx
