@amberwidener0204, aww that’s too bad. I know the SPCA here sponsors programs to help people get their pets neutered along with trap, neuter, release programs for strays and ferals. It’s such a problem with cats multiplying like crazy and no room in the shelters so it’s worth it to them to help. I’m sorry it’s not offered in your area ☹️ but still glad you plan to get it done.
ive fostered pregnant cats before. put your hand on her belly with some slight pressure, if she’s pregnant it’s very likely that you’ll feel some movement especially if she’s far enough along that you’d think she’s going into labor. you can also check her nipples if you don’t feel any movement, if they seem larger or darker than normal that can also be a sign.
the best place to check for movement is between her last nipple and her lady parts. some cats don’t “show” especially if it’s their first litter because there may only be one or two kittens.
