What about spina bifida one then?

The CF test was done with my initial bloodwork sometime in the first trimester. They check to see if you’re a carrier.

They'll test you to see if you're a carrier for CF. If you're not there's no worry. If you are, they'll test the dad to see if hes a carrier. If he's not, no worry. If you both are carriers, then there's a risk.

I think spina bifida is through the anatomy scan @beakymcspence? Can you elaborate?

They’re telling me to get it done with initial blood work at 8 weeks. Just doesn’t make sense to me

Spina bifida is included with the anatamy scan at 16-17w I believe. Cystic fibrosis is something else not sure 🤔 question for OB

I didn’t know there was a specific test for that
