Someone please refresh my mind. When packing for the hospital bag for you & baby, what items did you pack for yourself & for baby?? I’m 36 weeks today & need to start packing! When I was pregnant with my first I packed our bags at 35 weeks & for some reason my mind just completely forgot what I packed back then, it’s been 5 years ago! Plus pregnancy brain has gotten the best of me this time around 😩

Just two pairs of clothes (none maternity) a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, a robe or gown, a pillow for you, blankets for you and one for baby, a couple different size onesies for baby, baby socks and mittens, all your personal info, pregnancy plan and money.

For me I’m gonna pack some comfy clothes. How many outfits did you pack for baby? That’s where I’m currently at, gathering his outfits.

I was also debating what to packed. Its been 3 years since last time I packed a hospital bag and I over did it last time. So this time around I packed for me - towel, shampoo, cream, deodorant, sponge, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, hair ties, (some makeup) comfy slippers, socks, underwear, 1 robe, 1 outfit to go home ) and my postpartum waist belt
and for baby- 2 outfits to go home ( 1 newborn & 1 0-3 months , they don’t allowed to change babies clothing at my hospital 🙄) 2 blankets, socks, mittens, hat.
I also have my birthplan in there and in my purse I carry my insurance and all my personal info. I think thats all. I will also be taking my bobby pillow to help me breastfeed.

I don’t remember if I over did it last time, but I completely had forgotten what I needed to pack for baby. So so far for me I have packed 4 comfy outfits, a few pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of slippers, hair ties, I need to get me some pads still.
For baby I packed 2 newborn outfits, 2 0-3 outfits & his coming home outfit, a couple bibs, 1 blanket, mittens, socks.
I’m not breastfeeding but I did pack nipple cream & a few breast pads just Incase I leak or something. I still feel like I need more things or I’m missing something. All the things like tooth paste, brushes, my husband will pack in his bag.

I found this awesome list. I won't use everything on here so I'm not packing everything but I'll be going off of this. With a few things extra I want for my comfort. 😊
