Question ladies. When did your little ones say their first word and what was it?
Maybe I’m just impatient but I thought he should have said something by now.

My daughter said Mama at about 10 months but still doesn't talk at 15 months

Also, sometimes when babies aren’t talking to can teach them simple signs so that you can communicate. Such as mom, dad, eat, sleep, play, yes, no, stop, hi. Do it all the time and they’ll pick it up.
My girl was saying mama and dada at 5 months but it was only occasionally. Now she’s 8 months and she calls for mamamamama all the time and when hubs is gone she screams DADA. She says baba or mmm when she’s hungry but really that’s it. She does lots of “talking” but none of it makes sense. 😂
Oh he “talks” too but he’s not saying mama yet. I’m not sure if there’s something else I should be doing. He definitely knows who I am but he doesn’t say it. 🥴
@_ris_, I think what made it easier for us is I have a girl and I call her my little mama all the time so she constantly hears it.
