Has any moms had BV (bacterial vaginosis) during their pregnancy? How was your pregnancy? Is your child healthy?

It's not uncommom to reoccur frequently during pregnancy. I was sick of it. It was like every time we had sex I got it.
I had it. Daughter was perfectly healthy although the antibiotics did cause her tummy to be a little off balance, from what her pediatrician told me. She had gerd but probiotics helped balance her gut back out.
I had it a few weeks ago baby looks fine no issues
I had it with my last pregnancy what seemed like once a month tbh it was so annoying. But everything was completely fine with my daughter there was never anything bad that happened. I was treated and it went away. Mine just kept coming back for whatever reason but stopped once I was done being pregnant 🤷🏽♀️
@petals, trust me I hear you!! I was in tears over it cause I didn’t understand why it kept coming back and no one have answers for me.
I had it a while back, they just gave me antibiotics, like she said 2 times a day for 7 days and it’s gone. No issues with pregnancy besides I had cramping and back pain. But went away once I started taking the meds. I haven’t had it since thank god lol
@petals, group b strep, bacteria infection that can be passed to the baby during labor, they will give you antibiotics before you deliver to keep from giving it to baby. 25% pregnant women get it. I am being induced in like two weeks little less so my doctor can give me meds and keep a eye on the baby

Yes they told me I had it yesterday. They gave me meds to take 2 times a day for 7 days. It's safe for the baby....and it also helps acne! (On the positive side)
Its really concerning especially reading about risks of cerebral palsy and membrane ruptures and passing the infection to the baby causing meningitis. Those are all super rare I'm sure and I dont mean to spread any type of panic its just concerning.... especially when my gyno told me not to worry, didnt do any tests, and that it was a yeast infection, then 4 months later finding out I was positive for it from a different doctor. They treated it with flagyl and it cleared up but I'm worried it's back again

At least three times. Baby was healthy bc I got it treated every time.
