Getting ready for my 39 week check up. My dr hasnt mentioned anything about a membrane sweep...if I request it can they deny me?

My doctor with my youngest wouldn't even consider a sweep or checking my cervix until I was 40 weeks or over.

Usually at 39 weeks they won’t deny that. I’d definitely ask!
