I have these brushes. I have medium thick hair that goes down to the middle of my back. I also use this kind of brush on my 3 year old.
These are nice brushes for the big snarls and my daughter doesn't mind me brushing her hair when I use this brush.
It does take longer to get all the snarls out of your hair but it's pretty painless. I've used this brush on dry or damp hair but I've never used it on truly wet hair.

I was just going to suggest the same one that @blessed2018w9, did. I have thick wavy hair, that’s to my waist, and this brush works great for my hair.

I was pretty disappointed with this brush for regular brushing. However, it’s good for when I do a deep conditioning treatment in the shower and use a brush to help spread the conditioner out. I feel there’s less breakage than using a comb and it’s easier to rinse the treatmeant off this brush vs some other kinds that hold water.
