So I found out yesterday that baby flipped transverse and I haven't felt him move since last night I'm freaking out!
I'm 36 weeks I'm just worried that he won't have the room to flip back down even if he wanted to I'm worried about the umbilical cord wrapping around him or his neck
@cierralhoffman, I was 33 weeks when I found out my baby was transverse around 36 weeks she flipped to breech and stayed that way so I had to schedule a c section for 39 weeks. I went into labor at 38 weeks so they did my c section then.
Did they give you the option to have doctor try to flip baby? I know not every doctor will do. I decided against it for same worry about umbilical cord. They should do an ultrasound every visit for you from now on if they don’t I would ask that way you can keep an eye on baby and see if they flipped.
@iuiblessing2018 I just found out yesterday he was transverse I don't see the doctor till Monday I got my first kick at 12 and another at 12:30 but nothing since if I don't get the rest in a half hour I'm going to L&D I tried a slusshy it's cold and sugary I even walked I'm scared something is really wrong
Lay on your left, drink cold water, and do kick counts. Go in if you still don’t feel anything.
I have been it's weird usually I don't have to do kick counts because all he does is move from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed my fiance says that while I'm sleeping he talks to my belly and baby goes nuts I'm just worried because transverse can be bad for baby the umbilical cord could wrap around his neck
@cierralhoffman, yeah that’s how it was for my pregnancy. I never had to do kick counts. I would call your dr. Even if it ends up from him moving to transverse I wouldn’t take that chance.
My baby was transverse then breech and I was able to feel movement but some days I felt like she wasn’t moving like she should. I agree cold water will help get baby moving and laying on side. If you are nervous I would call doctor just to ease your mind
