I kept a shoe box of a few items in hopes of our baby. Had some random onesies I got on sale, some childhood books of mine and my husband's. Things that were sentimental. Then when it happened it was exciting to unpack that box

My husband and I refrained from preparing while TTC because even though the journey was long and discouraging, we wanted to live in the moment instead of borrowing time from the next step. My advice would be to enjoy the step you’re currently experiencing. However, you can never be too prepared so if you decide to start planning things and buying some essentials, that’s your choice :)
