I also have a window that lets in a lot of light and I would keep it 199% but it faces the neighbor's backyard so I opted to do a stick on window decal that looks like stained glass, so I can't grow anything because it doesn't let enough light in, but it looks beautiful! I highly recommend window decals

I have a kitchen kind of like that. I'd get some blindes, curtain, or a shade. The sun will be a killer.

A nice curtain and some small window plants. Also I'd stick a bird feeder or something right in front of the window. I love watching nature
