An old neighbour of ours used to leave her triplets in the house while she popped to the shops. They were 2.5yrs. She used to lock the front door (so they couldn't open it I imagine). Then climb out of the front window. My husband witnessed it a few times before he realised what she was doing. They also used to play out the front & I had to stop them running into the road which she scorned me for when she came out and saw me ushering them back onto the path. Funny thing is they started at my nursery and social is involved with the family already. She's not abusive or anything but does struggle with them. It must be hard work getting them all ready to go out but I just couldn't imagine leaving mine even for 5mins if I popped to the local shops. Goodness knows what they could get up to!
Omg! That's so scary and irresponsible x As a parent you can risk being so careless x It takes 1 tiny slip up for something terrible happening x I get kids can be hard work and it can be a struggle, but same I could never imagine leaving them alone myself x
Unbelievable! And she's pregnant. How long does it take to put a pair of shoes on for your 5 year old and take him with you. I mean she even left the oven on! What if she hadn't come back ? Ridiculous !
