I just wasnt sure if it was recommended or not. I have never heard of anything for or against it. I didn't know if it would affect the baby. But now I know. Thank you.

A reputable shop/artist won't give a breastfeeding mother a tattoo. Any shop or artist that will willingly give one isn't a shop you want to get a tattoo at anyway.

Well my sil is a tattoo artist and I asked her and she said it perfectly fine as long as you are not pregnant it doesn’t effect the milk and as long as the shop is clean and a reputable store you don’t have to worry

It is perfectly fine to get tattooed while breastfeeding assuming you go to a reputable shop that’s clean.
