Getting my mind right for all of Zay’s testing over the next two weeks. Excited because this will get him placed in school and therapy, nervous because it’s a lot. At least after the last test on the 21st we make our way to the airport to catch a red eye...family vacay before he starts school the second week of April.

I’m really blessed with my ties to the disability community in the Bay Area and they’re following me out here to make sure I’m supported in the process for my own child. I’m excited for him but nervous to be the overwhelmed momma!

the process is overwhelming to get to the end. But the after (assuming you have a good district) is the easy part! Having the help and therapy in school makes so much difference.

I moved into this district specifically for their services.
My sister went to Geneva’s preschool because of her speech for a good 2.5 years. I loved her teacher so I know it’s definitely going to be a good thing. My little guy is very high functioning and mainly needs more communication skills.
