We went to playgroup earlier and this little boy hit my daughter twice and i think he pushed her off a trike (i was sorting my baby out, i just heard her cry and she was on the floor and saw him there too) the whole time his mom was sitting on her phone! Am i being silly for being so annoyed?

No you are not being silly. My niece is the same with my son!
They're both 2 and she's very violent. If we see her my boy is full of scratches on his face. I tell her mum to tell her off but she doesn't and just laughs it off. So i started telling the little girl off myself 🤷🏻♀️
If the tables were turned im sure she would be mad for a parent to shrug it off and laugh xx

Not at all! I stopped going to one of the local groups because of this! One little boy always tried to get my Erica and he was with a childminder and she didn’t even look up too busy chatting to even know what he was doing! Another kid she was looking after purposely trapped another child’s fingers in a door and no discipline! 🙄 super annoying! Xx

It's just rude, how can you sit there on your phone and let your kid hit others? Maci isn't a crier but she really cried today and it breaks my heart that someone hurt her x

I know, I don’t take my eyes off her but some parents just seem to take it as an hour or two off! 🤷🏻♀️ too busy gossiping to the other mums! It’s awful isn’t it- the first time it happens I didn’t know what to do and was waiting for the childminder to do something and she literally didn’t even notice even though Erica was screaming she didn’t even look over so the next time he did it I just told him! Little shitbag! X

No of course not!! When I go to them I see either most mums on there phones or just chatting away and not watching their child. I do the same as bonnie talk very loud. A 3 year old hit my son this other week over the head so the turned around looked at him and hit him back and as soon as my child hurt her son she was soon in a hurry to get off her phone and shout at the when i explained to her that her son started it her reply was " well he not like that" So I turned around and asked how would she know when she was on the phone the whole time. Her jaw just dropped. So don't worry you have every right to feel annoyed xxxx
