What's the point of even taking your kid to the pediatrician just to ignore what she says about your kids reaccuring ear infections and says she needs tubes in her ears. All because you don't want to put up with the upkeep of them and you're mad you can't enroll her in toddler swimming classes. 🤦 I love my sister but REALLY? The doctor wouldn't tell you she needs tubes if it wasn't enough of a problem to warrant them. My niece always has ear infections, you'd think she'd do what the doctor suggested to help her feel better, but she won't because the doctor told her no swimming class because she'll get water in her ears.

My youngest just got his 3 set. We have ear plugs and he goes swimming.

She knows. She doesn't care because swimming class starts in a couple days and she wants her to do that. I told her she could use earplugs and she said she's just not going to do it or wait until the 6 week class is over. But then she said she might wait until after summer too. 🤦

She's doing damage that could be irreversible if she waits too long. Does she want her daughter to have to wear a hearing aid too.

O.M.G. Let me tell you. I’m on the opposite end. I’m TIRED of going to the dr because of his ear infections and I want him to get the tubes but when I took him the ent was like oh maybe it’s allergies. I DONT CARE he needs tubes. I don’t want my baby deaf or hard of hearing because of fluid.
She can still do classes though and the tubes aren’t permanent anyway. There’s always a work around.
