I NEED ADVICE!!!!
Cosmetology (yes, i would be able to get clients easily in my area), phlebotomy (the pay in my area is 22 an hour so it’s not a waste of time if i choose it), or restart my life career to work with mental health patients? If I chose one of the first two, I’d be able to start making money sooner and go back to school once my LO are in Kindergarten giving me a schedule for classes and time for homework!!
52 week course, 11 week course, VS 4 year degree...
I’d love to hear opinions or better options for making money as a SAHM... I want to work, but honestly I love being home with my babies... ☹️

If it were me, I’d personally choose phlebotomy because that career path will still be in high demand no matter what the economy looks like. And then you could always find ways to advance in the medical field too. But ultimately you need to follow your heart and choose something you’re passionate about. You will figure it out! I am a phlebotomist and I absolutely love it!! You can always do different things with it. You can do a 8-5 you can do a night shift you can also do blood draw in nursing homes in the middle of the night and do on call for stats btw I made at least 2000 a week when I did that. Further a long you can teach I do that as well anD LOVE it. You can also do insurance calls where you go to persons house and do what they call are “physicals” and blood work for insurance company’s. With phlebotomy you can do sooo many things. And you can also get on at a hospital and they help pay to further your degree if you wanted to go more at least here in ca you can. Plus with getting your “foot in the door” can help you with long time schooling just a thought 😁

I have 2 semesters of med school under my belt, so honestly this sounds like the best route.

if you love people and it sounds like you do since you want to work with mental health patients it sounds to be the best!! I have drawn blood for the clinic that does weekly draws for mental health patients to make sure they have the right dose of meds and I love doing that part too!! Phlebotomists are always in need!! I have been doing it for so long my whole family draws so I learned at 12. On my self😬 (My grandma is a director of a lab lol also she’s super young ahah ) best decision I have ever made following in her foot steps and having the kind of career I have gone soo far and only plan on going further with it. If you ever need any help once you start let me know. I know the book oh so well. 😊

I went to cosmetology school and graduated almost 8 years ago and haven’t done hair since graduating. You have to be super passionate about it to make it work
