I'm a little hurt a family friend of ours is pregnant. A little background she used to be married to my husband's cousin they had a baby together and then he split. We still consider her and her family as family especially since our first babies are 2nd cousins. She's due September 14th with her boyfriends baby. We ended up going to lunch with her mom and dad this past Sunday and they mentioned that she did the bloodwork for the gender and was announcing it this coming saturday at their gender reveal party. A little hurt I said "oh... I guess we weren't invited." And her mom looked a little guilty and tried to cover it up with. "Oh! I don't think she has invited anyone yet." Which I know is a lie you don't tell people about a party only a couple days before you usually tell people at least a week or two in advance so people don't make plans that day. Just thought we were a little closer than that but come to think about it they haven't asked or really cared to be apart of my pregnancy at all. Just hurt about it because we would have liked to be included to.
