Exactly 👍 I definately over thought it 1st time lol. It's all exciting & new & is fun to meal prep & all that. With Max though I was much more laid back. I only weaned in the beginning because he was an early weaner. Once he got to 6months I never pureed again!
We done baby led weaning at just a few days before six months. Soft finger foods pretty much whatever we were having no honey before one. I used the babyled weaning cookbook apps the recipes are family friendly and easy
Also I tried to be relaxed as babies will gag and it’s actually a good thing they need to develop that reflex so I would smile and say oh well. I never showed him I was petrified inside! He eats pretty much most foods now except chocolate so I can’t complain

they don't actually need the food as such.. she still has to have milk atm.. it's just to get them used to eating that's what my hv told me :) xx
