@jujum, I was on birthcontrol last month but I quit the 2nd week I had the pill I got off cause it lowerd my milk supply to almost nothing . I haven’t had sex with my partner since but I’m not sure how protected I really was since I started before my last period and wasn’t on long . I’m praying I just threw my cycle off

@prestonjeanetta0120 no it isn't. My midwife told me the only one that is safe while breastfeeding and doesn't lower milk supply is the mini pill so that's the one she prescribed for me.

@jujum, well that’s why my milk dropped to nothing almost then . Soon as I was struggling to keep up with my daughter who drinks 4oz every 2/4 hrs I quit taking them . I gotta appointment in 2 weeks to get something else but I may call her sooner since I’m late . But I don’t feel pregnant though !! Just have cramps here and there . I really hope I’m not I was told to that I should really consider not having anymore since my last c-section which was number 3 was hard because I have so much scar tissue and ended up getting 2 blood transfusion plus a week stay

@prestonjeanetta0120 oh sorry to hear. Maybe you can test today to put your mind at ease? You can also ask about the mini pill at your upcoming appointment.

@jujum, I don’t want to test I’m going to be completely stressed if it comes back positive . I’m just going to give it a few more days than call . But I’m deff going to ask for the mini pill because I had to power pump every hr on the clock for 5 days to increase my supply cause at that time my daughter wasn’t latching . Thank goodness she is now it’s been 4 days with no bottle 👏🏾. Anything I pump goes in the freezer

I would just test. I think you’ll stress yourself out more by putting it off and as someone who always thinks she is pregnant, stressing makes my “feel” pregnant. Lol

I would test especially since you quit the pill after 2 weeks and if you didn’t start the day after your last period your not protected right away I believe it’s a week till it gets in your system.
